On 12 hectares, fruit growing is combined with free-range hens, creating a unique farming system.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Production and processing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The hens roam freely and help protect the hazelnut and fruit orchard naturally. Besides hazels, they have also planted plums and apricots. Both the eggs and the hazelnuts are used in their own Poem bakeries in Pie\u0161\u0165any: <a href=\"https:\/\/poem.sk\/sliepky-z-karavanu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/poem.sk\/sliepky-z-karavanu\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Caring for the landscape and biodiversity<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The farm uses mosaic mowing, and the whole orchard is extensive, organic and free of pesticides and artificial fertilisers.
