1. Who processes your data
The operator of the krajinaziva.sk website and the controller of personal data is BROZ – conservation association, with its registered office at Na Riviére 7/a, 841 04 Bratislava, Company ID (IČO) 31771815. The Krajina živá programme is an initiative of this association.
If you have any questions about the protection of personal data, you can contact us by e-mail at info@krajinaziva.sk, by phone on +421 951 020 586 or by post at our registered address. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO), as we are not required to do so by law.
We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data.

Providing your data is voluntary. However, without basic contact details we cannot reply to your message or assess your application to the programme. We do not collect sensitive data (for example about health or religion).
3. Who we share data with
We do not provide data to third parties for marketing purposes. Only authorised members and associates of BROZ and members of the Krajina živá programme evaluation committee have access to it. We use the following processors to run the website:
- Websupport, s.r.o., Bratislava: website and mailbox hosting (data is stored in the EU),
- Digimania s.r.o.: technical administration of the website,
- Google Ireland Ltd.: applications to the programme are submitted via Google Forms and website traffic is measured by Google Analytics, but only if you have given consent in the cookie settings,
- Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. and Google (YouTube): if you click a link to, or embedded content from, these networks, they process your data in accordance with their own policies.
With Google and Meta services, data may be transferred to the USA. These companies participate in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the transfer is safeguarded by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
4. Your rights
As a data subject, you have the right:
- to access your data and obtain a copy of the data we process about you,
- to have inaccurate data corrected or incomplete data completed,
- to have your data erased if it is no longer needed for the purpose for which we collected it,
- to restrict processing and to data portability,
- to object to processing based on legitimate interest,
- to withdraw your consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it was withdrawn,
- to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava, dataprotection.gov.sk.
You can exercise your rights by e-mail at info@krajinaziva.sk. We will reply within one month at the latest.
5. How we protect data
The website is secured with an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access to the administration is protected by a password and security tools, and forms are protected against spam. Messages from the contact form are stored in the website administration and deleted once the retention period has expired. Only people who need the data to perform their tasks have access to it.
6. Cookies
The use of cookies and similar technologies is governed by a separate cookie policy. You can change your consent at any time via the link Cookie settings.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example when legislation or the services we use change. The current version is always published on this page together with its effective date.
